1688Warehouse is not responsible for losses caused by incomplete, incorrect, ambiguous, or conflicting instructions provided by the customer.
5. Product Sourcing
Where requested, we may assist customers in searching for products or suppliers on 1688 or other Chinese sourcing channels.
Product sourcing assistance does not constitute a guarantee that:
- A supplier is suitable for every customer
- A product meets every regulatory requirement

- Product quality will meet the customer’s expectations
- A supplier will perform exactly as described
Customers remain responsible for evaluating whether a product is suitable for their intended market and use.
6. Purchasing Service
Customers may send us product links and order requirements and request that we purchase products on their behalf.
Before purchasing, customers should confirm:

Once an order has been placed or paid to the supplier, cancellation may be subject to the supplier’s policies and platform rules.

unless another rate is specifically agreed in writing.
The purchasing service fee does not automatically include:
- Product cost
- Domestic freight
- International freight
- Customs-related charges
- Special inspection
- Special packaging
- Insurance
- Storage beyond the free period
- Other separately quoted services
Any quotation or written agreement provided for a specific order will take priority if it states different pricing.
8. RMB Payment Assistance
Where applicable, we may pay suppliers in RMB on behalf of customers.
Payment to a supplier does not mean that 1688Warehouse becomes the manufacturer, seller, or producer of the goods.
The supplier remains responsible for manufacturing, product specifications, product quality, and fulfillment of the supplier’s obligations.
9. Supplier Prices and Availability
Supplier prices, stock levels, minimum order quantities, promotions, and delivery times may change without notice.
If a supplier changes the price, becomes out of stock, changes specifications, or cannot fulfill the order, we may contact the customer for further instructions.
We are not responsible for supplier-controlled changes that occur before or after the customer submits a product link.
10. Supplier Shipment Tracking
Where available, we may help track domestic shipments sent by suppliers to our China warehouse.
Tracking information is provided based on information from:
- Suppliers
- Domestic couriers
- Logistics platforms
- Tracking systems
We cannot guarantee that third-party tracking information will always be complete, accurate, or updated in real time.
11. China Warehouse Receiving
Customers may arrange for goods from different suppliers to be sent to our China warehouse.
Customers should contact us before sending parcels so that we can provide the correct receiving instructions.
Packages should include any customer identification information or warehouse reference requested by us.
We are not responsible for delays in identifying packages that arrive:
- Without customer identification
- With incorrect recipient information
- With incomplete tracking information
- Under an unknown name
- Without prior notification
12. Warehouse Inspection
Our standard warehouse inspection is generally a basic visual and quantity check.
Depending on the agreed service, this may include:
- Counting items
- Checking visible product appearance
- Checking obvious damage
- Checking basic color, model, or specification information
- Taking photos
- Taking videos
Our standard inspection is not equivalent to:
- Laboratory testing

Specialized inspection requirements must be agreed separately before the service is performed.
13. Photos and Videos
We may take photos or videos of goods to help customers confirm:
- Quantity

- Packaging
- Visible condition
- Consolidation
- Repacking
Photos and videos are intended to provide reasonable visual confirmation only.
They do not constitute a guarantee that the goods are free from hidden defects or that every product meets every technical specification.

If goods are visibly damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or inconsistent with the confirmed order, we may assist the customer in communicating with the supplier.
This assistance may include:
- Return requests

Any return freight, handling charge, supplier deduction, or other cost may be payable by the customer unless otherwise agreed.
15. Free Storage Period
1688Warehouse currently provides up to:
30 days of free warehouse storage
for eligible goods.
The free storage period allows customers to wait for parcels from multiple suppliers before consolidation.
The applicable storage period may begin from the date goods are received or otherwise recorded by our warehouse.
Goods remaining beyond the free storage period may be subject to:
- Storage fees
- Additional handling fees
- Relocation
- Disposal procedures for abandoned goods
where applicable and after reasonable notice.
Specific storage rules may also be governed by our Warehouse Terms or a separate quotation.
16. Consolidation and Repacking
We may combine products from multiple suppliers into fewer cartons.
Where practical, we may remove:
- Courier bags

- Other unnecessary external packaging
The purpose of consolidation and repacking is to improve shipment efficiency and potentially reduce:
- Actual weight
- Volumetric weight
- Package volume
- International shipping cost
However, we do not guarantee a specific amount of freight savings.
Final shipping cost depends on factors including destination, carrier, route, actual weight, volumetric weight, product type, and shipping method.
17. Packaging Decisions
Unless the customer provides specific written packaging instructions, we may use reasonable judgment when consolidating and repacking goods.
Customers should notify us in advance if:
- Original retail packaging must be retained
- Supplier cartons must not be removed

Available shipping methods may vary depending on:
- Destination
- Product category
- Weight
- Dimensions
