These Service Terms (“Service Terms”) apply to services provided by 1688Warehouse through 1688warehouse.com, WhatsApp, email, quotations, invoices, and other agreed communication channels.
These Service Terms should be read together with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any quotation, invoice, warehouse instruction, shipping quotation, or written agreement issued for a specific transaction.
By requesting a service, sending goods to our warehouse, authorizing us to purchase products, making payment, approving consolidation or packing, or instructing us to arrange international shipping, you agree to these Service Terms.

Customers may begin by sending us:
- A 1688 product link
- Product name
- Quantity
- Color
- Size
- Model
- Specification
- Destination country
- Any special requirements
Customers who have not yet found suitable products may also ask us for product sourcing assistance.
For faster processing, customers should provide complete and accurate information before requesting a purchase.
3. Customer Confirmation of Product Details
Before purchasing, the customer is responsible for confirming all material product details.
These may include:
- Product type
- Quantity
- Color
- Size
- Model
- Material
- Specification
- Packaging
- Branding
- Supplier
- Unit price
- Other important requirements
We rely on the customer’s confirmed instructions when placing or assisting with an order.
1688Warehouse is not responsible for losses resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, unclear, or conflicting customer instructions.
4. Product Sourcing Service
Where requested, we may assist in searching for suitable products or suppliers on 1688 or other Chinese sourcing channels.
Product sourcing assistance may include:
- Searching for products
- Comparing available listings
- Reviewing basic supplier information
- Helping clarify purchasing options
- Communicating basic requirements
Product sourcing does not mean that we guarantee:
- Supplier reliability
- Product quality
- Factory capability
- Product certification
- Regulatory compliance
- Intellectual property authorization
- Continuous stock availability
- Future pricing
The final purchasing decision remains with the customer.
5. 1688 Purchasing Service
If the customer requests us to purchase goods on their behalf, we may:
- Confirm the selected product
- Confirm order specifications
- Place the order
- Pay the supplier in RMB
- Monitor the supplier’s shipment
- Assist with basic supplier communication
Once the order has been submitted or paid, cancellation depends on the supplier’s policy and the status of the transaction.
We cannot guarantee cancellation after supplier payment has been completed.
6. Purchasing Service Fee
Our standard purchasing service commission is:
8% of the product value
unless a different rate is specifically agreed in writing.
The 8% purchasing service fee applies to purchasing assistance and does not automatically include:
- Product cost
- Supplier domestic shipping fees
- International shipping
- Special inspection
- Special packaging
- Insurance
- Customs charges
- Storage beyond the free period
- Other separately quoted services
If a quotation or written agreement specifies different pricing, the specific quotation or agreement will apply to that transaction.
7. Supplier Prices and Stock Availability
Prices, stock quantities, minimum order quantities, discounts, and supplier terms may change.
A supplier may:
- Increase or reduce a price
- Change the minimum order quantity
- Run out of stock
- Change available colors or specifications
- Delay production
- Cancel an item
- Change domestic freight charges
If a material change occurs before purchasing, we may request additional confirmation from the customer.
1688Warehouse is not responsible for supplier-controlled price or availability changes.
8. RMB Payment
When purchasing on behalf of a customer, we may pay Chinese suppliers in RMB.
Our payment to the supplier is made on behalf of the customer and does not make 1688Warehouse the manufacturer or seller of the products.
Product manufacturing, descriptions, materials, specifications, and production quality remain the responsibility of the supplier.
9. Supplier Shipment Tracking
After suppliers dispatch goods, we may assist in tracking Chinese domestic shipments to our warehouse.
Tracking information may be obtained from:
- Suppliers
- Domestic courier companies
- 1688
- Logistics platforms
- Tracking systems
Third-party tracking information may occasionally be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.
We will make reasonable efforts to help identify the status of shipments but cannot guarantee real-time tracking accuracy.
10. Sending Goods to Our Warehouse
Customers should contact us before instructing suppliers to send goods to our warehouse.
We may provide:
- Warehouse receiving information
- Recipient information
- Customer identification information
- Parcel reference instructions
- Other necessary receiving details
The customer must ensure that suppliers use the correct warehouse information.
11. Identification of Incoming Parcels
Goods arriving at the warehouse should contain the required customer identification information where requested.
If parcels arrive:
- Without a customer reference
- Under an unknown recipient
- With incorrect information
- Without a tracking number
- Without prior notification
additional time may be required to identify and allocate them.
We are not responsible for delays caused by missing or incorrect parcel identification information supplied by the customer or supplier.
12. Warehouse Receiving
Our warehouse may receive parcels from multiple suppliers for the same customer.
Upon arrival, we may:
- Record the parcel
- Associate it with the relevant customer
- Check basic package information
- Organize it with the customer’s other orders
- Hold it while waiting for additional supplier shipments
Receiving a parcel does not automatically mean that every product inside has been fully inspected.
Inspection is a separate warehouse process.
13. Basic Product Inspection
Where included or requested, our warehouse inspection may include:
- Counting quantities
- Checking visible product appearance
- Checking obvious damage
- Comparing basic product information
- Checking basic color, model, or specification
- Taking photographs
- Taking videos
This is a basic warehouse inspection.
It is not equivalent to:
- Laboratory testing
- Electrical safety testing
- Chemical testing
- Certification testing
- Professional engineering inspection
- Full pre-shipment inspection
- Factory audit
- Destructive testing
- Regulatory compliance verification
If a customer requires specialized quality-control services, the requirements must be agreed separately before inspection.
14. Inspection Limitations
Basic inspection cannot identify every possible defect.
Certain problems may not be visible without:
- Opening sealed retail packaging
- Testing the product under operating conditions
- Technical equipment
- Laboratory analysis
- Long-term use
- Destructive testing
Accordingly, photos, videos, and basic warehouse inspection do not constitute a guarantee that every product is defect-free.
15. Photos and Videos
Where requested or included, we may provide photos or videos of goods.
These may show:
- Product appearance
- Quantity
- Packaging
- Visible condition
- Product labels
- Consolidation
- Repacking
Customers should review the provided photos or videos carefully.
Once the customer approves the goods for further processing or international shipment, we may proceed based on that approval.
16. Product Problems
If an obvious problem is identified while the goods remain in China, we may notify the customer.
Examples include:
- Visible damage
- Wrong product
- Wrong color
- Wrong model
- Incorrect quantity
- Missing items
- Obvious mismatch with the confirmed order
The customer should provide instructions on whether to proceed, return, exchange, or seek another solution.
17. Returns and Exchanges
Where possible, we may assist customers with returns or exchanges.
Assistance may include:
- Contacting the supplier
- Explaining the identified issue
- Providing supporting photos or videos
- Coordinating return shipment
- Following the supplier’s response
A return or exchange is subject to:
- Supplier acceptance
- 1688 platform rules
- Product condition
- Timing
- Available evidence
- Applicable transaction policies
We cannot guarantee that a supplier will accept a return or exchange.
18. Refund Assistance
We may also assist customers with refund requests where appropriate.
However, final refund approval is controlled by the supplier, platform, payment arrangement, or other relevant party.
1688Warehouse does not guarantee that a refund will be approved.
Any supplier deduction, domestic return freight, platform fee, handling fee, or other associated cost may be deducted from the amount recovered unless otherwise agreed.
19. Free Warehouse Storage
Eligible goods may be stored at our China warehouse for up to:
30 days free of charge
unless a different arrangement is stated in writing.
The free storage period is intended to allow customers to wait for goods from multiple suppliers before consolidation and international shipment.
The applicable start date will generally be based on warehouse receipt records or the storage arrangement communicated for the relevant order.
20. Storage Beyond the Free Period
Goods remaining in the warehouse after the free storage period may be subject to additional storage charges.
If additional charges apply, they may depend on:
- Number of parcels
- Storage volume
- Storage duration
- Product type
- Special handling requirements
Customers should contact us if they expect their goods to remain in storage for an extended period.
21. Unclaimed or Abandoned Goods
Customers are responsible for maintaining communication and providing timely instructions regarding goods stored at our warehouse.
If goods remain unclaimed or instructions are not provided for an extended period, we may contact the customer and request:
- Payment of outstanding charges
- Shipping instructions
- Return instructions
- Disposal instructions
- Other appropriate action
Where legally permitted and after reasonable notice, prolonged abandoned goods may be subject to additional storage charges, return, disposal, or other reasonable handling procedures.
22. Consolidation
Once goods from different suppliers have arrived and are ready for shipment, we may consolidate them into fewer packages.
Consolidation may include:
- Combining several supplier parcels
- Organizing products by customer
- Removing redundant shipping materials
- Rearranging products into fewer cartons
- Preparing cartons for international transportation
Consolidation is intended to improve shipping efficiency.
23. Removal of Unnecessary Packaging
Where appropriate, we may remove unnecessary external packaging such as:
- Domestic courier bags
- Excess outer cartons
- Repeated packaging layers
- Unnecessary filling materials
- Damaged outer boxes
- Other redundant transport packaging
This may help reduce shipment volume and weight.
Customers must inform us in advance if original packaging must be preserved.
24. Repacking
We may repack products into cartons or packaging that we consider reasonably suitable for international transportation.
Customers should provide specific instructions in advance if they require:
- Original retail cartons
- Additional protection
- Waterproof packaging
- Fragile handling
- Separate packaging
- Reinforced cartons
- Other special packing requirements
Special packaging may involve additional charges.
25. Shipping Cost Reduction
Consolidation and repacking may reduce:
- Number of cartons
- Actual weight
- Volumetric weight
- Overall shipment volume
This may reduce international freight costs.
However, we do not guarantee a specific percentage or amount of savings.
Final freight depends on the actual shipment after packing and the applicable shipping route.
26. Final Packing Information
Once consolidation and repacking are completed, final shipping information may include:
- Number of cartons
- Actual weight
- Dimensions
- Chargeable weight
- Product category
- Destination
International shipping quotations may be calculated using the final packing information.
27. International Shipping
After warehouse processing is complete, we may arrange international transportation where available.
Shipping options may vary based on:
- Destination
- Product type
- Weight
- Volume
- Carrier requirements
- Customs restrictions
- Available shipping routes
International shipping is quoted separately unless specifically included in another agreed price.
28. DDP Shipping
DDP shipping may be offered for eligible destinations and products.
The exact services included in a DDP shipment are determined by the relevant quotation and route.
Customers should not assume that every destination, product type, or shipment is eligible for DDP service.
Availability must be confirmed before shipping.
29. Shipping Quotations
Shipping quotations may depend on:
- Destination country
- Postal code
- Product type
- Number of cartons
- Actual weight
- Dimensions
- Chargeable weight
- Customs requirements
- Shipping route
- Service level
A quotation may have a limited validity period because international freight rates may change.
30. Estimated Transit Times
Any transit time communicated to the customer is an estimate unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Delays may occur due to:
- Customs inspections
- Weather
- Carrier delays
- Flight changes
- Port congestion
- Peak seasons
- Public holidays
- Government action
- Regulatory checks
- Destination delivery issues
- Other events beyond our reasonable control
Estimated transit times should not be treated as guaranteed delivery dates.
31. Customs and Import Information
Customers must provide accurate information necessary for international transportation and customs processing.
This may include:
- Product description
- Quantity
- Declared value
- Recipient information
- Delivery address
- Telephone number
- Postal code
- Product material
- Brand information
- Battery information
- Other customs information
Providing false, incomplete, or misleading information may result in:
- Delay
- Additional charges
- Customs inspection
- Return
- Confiscation
- Penalties
- Refusal of carriage
Costs caused by incorrect customer information may be charged to the customer.
32. Import Eligibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the goods are permitted in the destination country.
1688Warehouse does not automatically verify:
- Import licenses
- Product certifications
- Product registration
- Intellectual property authorization
- Local safety standards
- Labeling requirements
- Product compliance
- Market-specific regulations
Customers should obtain professional advice before purchasing regulated or sensitive products.

Customers must contact us before purchasing or sending any product that may require special handling or documentation.
34. Customer Responsibility for Product Legality
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the goods they purchase:
- Are legal to purchase
- Are legal to export from China
- Are legal to import into the destination country
- Do not infringe trademarks, patents, copyrights, or other rights
- Meet required local regulations where applicable
We may refuse to handle goods where there is a reasonable compliance or safety concern.
35. Payments

These may include:
- Product costs
- Purchasing fees

- Warehouse service fees
- Special inspection fees
- Additional storage fees

37. Order Changes
Customers should request changes as early as possible.
Changes requested after:
- Supplier payment
- Warehouse processing
- Consolidation
- Repacking
- Shipping booking
- Shipment dispatch
may not be possible or may result in additional charges.
38. Order Cancellation
Cancellation before supplier payment may be possible depending on the status of the order.
After supplier payment, cancellation depends on supplier acceptance.
After goods have entered warehouse processing, customers may remain responsible for services already performed.
After international shipping has been booked or dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.
39. Customer Approval
Where we request approval for:
- Product details
- Inspection results
- Photos
- Videos
- Consolidation
- Final packaging
- Shipping quotation
we may rely on the customer’s approval as authorization to proceed to the next stage.
Customers should review information carefully before confirming.
40. Third-Party Suppliers

We are therefore not responsible for every supplier-controlled issue, including:
